Mechatronics Engineer building products for real-world constraints.

I led the design and build of SIDER, an offline learning platform. It was piloted in 6 schools in Cusco and reached 300+ students.

    Specialization, 2025

I build products for places with little connectivity and small budgets.

I studied Mechatronics Engineering at Universidad de Boyacá (2020 to 2025) and graduated as valedictorian. My thesis is the Mobile Utility Hub, a mobile unit for energy, water and food. In 2025 I completed IBM's Product Management Specialization.

Since then I have worked in the field. I led the design and build of SIDER for rural schools in Cusco, and I run two small ventures: Tech Solutions and Tech Kits.

Languages: Spanish (native), English (C1, IELTS Academic), Portuguese (A2).

Valle STEM LabConcept ✓ Nov 2025

PRD with 10 functional and 8 non-functional requirements and 5 epics.

A hybrid STEM solution for public primary schools in Urubamba: a modular kit, a bilingual Spanish and Quechua platform with offline mode, and teacher training. I wrote the product concept and the PRD, and designed the main board in KiCad (ESP32).

Concept, PRD and main PCB.

Lingo: speaking practicePrototype ✓

Working prototype, shown on video. No user metrics yet.

Learners answer a level-based prompt in front of an animated avatar. Speech is transcribed and compared with the model text in real time. The prototype targets Spanish learners in professional contexts.

Prototype ✓

  • Speech recognition
  • NLP
  • Web
Remote medical triagePrototype ✓

Multimodal triage demonstrated on sample cases.

Two iterations: an IoT triage kit with pulse oximetry, temperature and heart-rate sensors, and medscan_universal, a Python prototype that combines a symptom description and an image to output a diagnosis, a confidence score and a triage level.

Hotel shower regulatorPrototype ✓ 2025

Working prototype, shown on video. Water savings not yet measured.

A touchscreen controller with an adjustable timer, live flow (L/min) and volume (L) readings, and valve control, to keep water use down without hurting the guest experience.

Tienda V2: WhatsApp store botPrototype ✓ Jan 2026

Full flow tested end to end with the WhatsApp Cloud API (test traffic only, no usage figures).

Multi-tenant conversational commerce: a web catalog with live stock, a checkout that hands off to WhatsApp, and real-time stock reservation with row locking to prevent overselling. Node, TypeScript, Postgres and Redis.

  • PostgreSQL
  • WhatsApp Cloud API

Showreel pipeline: from HTML to videoIn use ✓

14 videos, each under the 6 MB limit, with no audio track and a poster frame. The showreels on this site come from it.

A repeatable pipeline that turns each project into a short video: the scenes are written in HTML and rendered with HyperFrames, compressed with ffmpeg and checked with ffprobe. Every video comes in English and Spanish, with vertical cuts for phones. The isometric figures on this site are generated from scripts in the same way.

Built by me.

In use ✓

  • HyperFrames
  • HTML to video
  • ffmpeg
  • Python
3D virtual tour pipelinePrototype ✓

On a test sculpture, 164 of 164 frames registered. A room test reached 73.9%, below my threshold, so I wrote recapture specs.

A free, reproducible pipeline that turns phone videos into 3D walkthroughs: frame selection, COLMAP reconstruction, Gaussian splat training and Blender rendering.
